The Aura Maxxing Update is the headline system patch for Be A Fish Bait, layering aura RNG on top of the existing rod, mutation, and zone progression. Auras directly multiply the cash generated by every fish in the player's aquarium, and the highest tiers can multiply passive income by 10x or more.
Fusion recipes let players combine lower-tier auras with cash to guarantee higher-tier outcomes, removing the worst of the RNG grind. Three new codes were shipped alongside the patch: BAITAURA, 4000LIKES, and 2500CCU.
Players who already owned an Extinct Primal Rod or had reached the Extinct Rarity Zone will notice aura rolls become the dominant progression path once a Mythical Tide aura is secured.
